Although Arabic is the official language in Egypt, English is still spoken at good levels in private business sectors and is becoming more active in the travel & tourism sector. English also remains the main language in many universities, private colleges and international schools. 

On the other hand, since tourism sector is considered as a  major activity in the Egyptian economy, there are also many translators available for other languages such as German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese.
