Trains in Egypt

Trains in Egypt are more than mere modes of transportation; they are living conduits that connect Egypt old & modern history as there is a large train network linking Egypt’s major cities to each other.

Types of Trains:  

1- High-Speed Trains:

These trains are the fastest in Egypt as they have high speeds of up to 250 km per hour. The biggest cities of Egypt which are Cairo and Alexandria are linked by trains of high speed.

2- Sleeper trains:

They  provide travelers with a unique opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of the Nile River and the desert while relaxing in your private cabin with air conditioning, a bed, and a wash basin. 

3- Tourist Trains

Trains Tourist were constructed for visitors & tourists, and they are equipped with panoramic windows that allowed passengers to enjoy the views from the trains all the way to their destination.
