Stores accountant - cost accountant I used to record and follow up on the materials going out and coming into the store, whether they were for the branches or the factory. I would inventory the store monthly and make a report on the shortage and its causes. As for cost calculations, I used to follow up and monitor the quantities spent for production and compare them with the quantities produced and the standard quantities and the age of reporting deviations and their causes.
