Duties:  Day-to-day functional responsibility areas such as: -  Implementation of financial and accounting procedures approved by senior management in timely manner & efficiently.  Review, study, analyze the monthly trail balances.  Summarizes financial status through the preparation of (Financial position, profit and loss, cash flow and other statements  Reviews accounts payables and weekly check runs.  Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels.  Generating monthly financial reports and verifying and post journal entries.  Supervising ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing.  Preparation of Zakat and value-added Tax (VAT) with the regulations of the Zakat and income tax association in cooperation and coordination with the Charted Accountants.  Reviews, investigates, corrects errors & inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.  Perform/review banks account reconciliations.  To handle bank guarantees, issue LCs and finalize various types of Letter of (LCs) and Bank Guarantees (LGs) by dealing with internal staff, client personnel and Bankers to have effective and systematic control on LCs and LGs.  Responsible for knowing critical functions within the department and capable of mentoring and assisting employees within the department.  Employs effective written and oral communication skills, including effective presentations.  Provides education and support to Accountants in developing processes and efficiencies and Meets with them regularly to discuss financial position and ensure the smooth running in accordance with company policies and guidelines.  Provide and implement recommendations to improve both systems and processes.  Manage the Year End audit with the Company’s External Auditors and provide them with all the explanations and finalize the Year End figures.  Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities
