It also manufactures and markets chemicals including car care products , household detergents and kitchen care products , thinners and solvents , textile auxiliaries , industrial chemicals and agricultural insecticides ; and lubricants RESPONSIBILITIES :  Investigates incidents of environmental pollution, control of clean –up operations using available equipments and personnel.  Carries out other similar or related duties such as carrying out various drills on assigned location (fire drills, drills on the use of breathing apparatus, evacuation drills).  Provides safety expertise/advice to supervisors on their self-inspection program, participated in developing / improving related checklists, monitors implementation of raised/outstanding items with the company’s training standards.  Conduct safety courses to promote personnel awareness to safety rules, regulations and procedures including fire and lifesaving equipment.  Reporting any hazard, potential hazard, accident or near miss substandard practice and / or condition.  Ensure the production /distribution of newsletters and the distribution of such as products alerts to all concerned company locations.  Performing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Audits, Inspecting Equipment, Monitoring and Providing Progress Reports on the Implementation of Companies' HSEMS (Health Safety Environmental Management Systems) .  Preparing specification of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing as well as safety devices & fire equipment.  Sharing in obtaining test certificates of machinery, lifting equipment, and gears, that need periodic inspection and testing to ensure safe operation.  Developing fire fighting training plans for teams.  Reviewing the project fire standard for utilities, facilities, & plants.  Planning, organizing, and conducting Emergency Exercises (including emergency drills).
